What I remember of the Bible story about Sodom and Gomorrah is that Yahweh destroys the cities because Lot couldn't find ten righteous people in the city. The nature of the public place indicates to me that the general public has an opportunity to catch a gander of something of this nature and if their inclination is such that they find this offensive to their beliefs, what is there to do? I just wish that if I were in a position to see a public display such as that, that there would be some type of controlled access to the area so that the easily offended would be warned that something of this manner is going on.
