Cars Are an Extension of Yourself

On one level, identifying yourself by the car you drive is a bit shallow, but it seems that those are rules that are in place in society, and have been for several decades. When I drove a small fuel economy Honda, someplace, people made assumptions that I had to overcome. Now when I drive to the same place in a full size Ford pickup, I've got instant cred. Part of me thinks that if others are so gullible as to make certain assumptions based solely on the type of vehicle I drive, I ought to live up to those expectations, the other part of me thinks that it's stupid to think a vehicle defines me.

Photographic evidence to the contrary, there is no correlation between how good looking you are and how nice of a truck you drive.
