I saw a hottie cycling the other day who looked exactly like him. Except, sadly, he was wearing an shirt and was with his wife. He smiled at me as he went by, probably because I was ogling him so blatantly.
Something about the sport really interest me. I like to get started but the idea of buying an expensive bike and if my interest where to wane makes me hesitant. How did you get started? I live in the bay area and the hills are steep here. Any advise would help. Thanks! Btw...love the blog BlkJack
I borrowed a bike for a year before buying an expensive bike to make sure that it was something that I was going to keep doing. You can get a good bike off craigslist inexpensive and take it to a bike shop to make sure it's all working, or maybe buy a cheap bike at a good bike shop. Getting to know a bike shop is a wealth of information about bike trails, and group rides, they have them for all levels of riding. As for hills, practice practice practice, in my area flat and small rolling hills are the norm.
